These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Pebble Press Design (“we”, “us”, “our”) and any client (“you”, “your”) engaging our services or using our website www.pebblepressdesign.co.uk (“the site”). By commissioning work or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services Provided
We offer professional web design and development services, specialising in WordPress and WooCommerce. Our services include, but are not limited to:
Custom WordPress and WooCommerce site design and development
Content creation and layout integration
eCommerce setup and configuration
Search engine optimisation (SEO) setup
Website hosting and maintenance (if agreed in writing)
We reserve the right to refuse work that is unlawful, unethical, or outside our professional expertise.
3. Quotes, Proposals, and Payment Terms
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before work commences.
The remaining balance is due upon project completion or 4 weeks from the agreed start date, whichever comes first.
Work will not be made live until full payment is received.
Payment must be made by bank transfer or another agreed method.
Late payment will incur interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate and may result in suspension of services.
We reserve the right to invoice for additional work caused by client delays, scope changes, or late provision of content.
4. Scope of Work and Additional Charges
Any work not expressly included in the agreed proposal will be treated as additional work and charged at our current hourly rate.
Requests for changes after sign-off will incur additional charges.
Project timelines may be extended if content, feedback, or approvals are delayed.
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide all content, images, and materials in an agreed format and timeframe.
Ensure you own, or have permission to use, all materials provided.
Grant us access to hosting, domain, and relevant accounts as needed.
Review and approve work promptly.
We accept no responsibility for delays caused by the client’s failure to provide content or feedback.
6. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, you will own the rights to the final website design and content created by us, excluding third-party components (e.g., stock images, plugins, fonts) which remain subject to their own licences.
We retain the right to display the completed project in our portfolio, marketing materials, and case studies, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Third-Party Services and Liability
We may use third-party tools, plugins, or hosting providers. We are not liable for their functionality, performance, security, or downtime.
The client is responsible for maintaining valid licences for any premium plugins or third-party services after project completion unless part of a maintenance plan.
8. Warranties and Limitations
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the website is free from defects at the time of delivery.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, complete security, or specific search engine rankings.
We are not liable for loss of revenue, data, or reputation due to site downtime, hacking, or third-party failure.
9. Maintenance and Support
Ongoing support is only provided if you have purchased a maintenance plan.
Without a plan, we are not responsible for site security, updates, or backups after delivery.
10. Cancellation and Termination
Cancellations must be made in writing.
Deposits are non-refundable once work has started.
We may terminate services immediately if:
You breach these Terms
Payments are overdue by more than 14 days
You request work that is unlawful or unethical
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, technical failures, pandemics, or internet outages.
12. Privacy and Data Protection
We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your personal data.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
